The Defamation Act 2013 was enacted in the U.K. on 25 April 2013. The Academy organised a talk entitled "Free Speech, Reputation and Media Intrusion: British Law Reforms" by Lord Lester of Herne Hill Q.C. (left) of Blackstone Chambers, London on 17 October 2013. Mr. Huen Wong (right), Past President of the Law Society and Chairman of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, presented a souvenir to Lord Lester.
